Our Prices versus Their Prices.
Many large retailers show misleading prescription discounts. Wal-Mart, Kroger and Meijer have all lured customers by pricing one or two popular medicines very low. The trap is, their other drugs go for premium prices—very premium.
At Grant County Drugs, we adhere to a basic set of best practices, so every prescription is fairly priced every day.
Here’s an example:
One of our patients used to buy her Metformin for $4 at a large pharmacy. What a deal! But she also bought Singulair and Omeprazole there for a total of $553.98. Ouch! At Grant County Drugs, her total for all three came to just $96.49, and we won a loyal, happy customer.
(generic for Glucophage®)
*All prices based on a 3-month’s supply. Prices quoted by phone on 7/28/13 for the Grant County Meijer, Kroger and Wal-Mart.
